Introduction

Welcome to the Data and Privacy page for Bridged Media, registered as NITL Ltd (referred to as "we," "us," or "our"). At Bridged Media, we take data privacy seriously, and we are committed to ensuring that your personal data is handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. This Data Deletion Request page outlines the process through which you can request the deletion of your personal data from our application ("the App").

Our Role as Data Processor

It is essential to understand that Bridged Media operates as a data processor for our customers ("the Customers"), who are the data controllers. As a data processor, we provide the platform and tools to collect and process data as instructed by our Customers. The data collected is determined by the specific purposes and preferences set by our Customers, and Bridged Media is not responsible for determining the purposes or means of processing your personal data.

Data Collection Process

The data collected by the App is entirely dependent on the instructions and choices made by our Customers. For instance, a publisher using our services may request access to specific information, such as emails, through Facebook sign-in, and ask for preferences regarding the type of content users wish to consume. Bridged Media's role is to design the forms and optimize the user journey to facilitate this data collection process.

Consent Management and adherence to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act (DPA)

As Bridged, we fully abide with regulations regarding data processing as defined in GDPR and DPA. As a processor, we process visitor information as requested by our customer. This information is either sent directly to the customer (with no trace left on Bridged) or kept in our servers for our customers to access through our dashboard.

As Bridged, we also query visitor identification systems to customize how our script runs to identify a repeat customer or customize their journey based on information such as Country, IP Location etc. We use javascript native libraries to get this information. If we use such identifiers, the website visitor is shown that Bridged collects Analytics cookies. These cookies are sometimes called different names by our customers but we only process the identifiers once the website visitor provides consent. However, if our customer does not want to use this infomration as part of the journey confiuration, such cookies are not shown on the consent wall.
